About this Class

Writing takes place in many exciting forms. In this two-part series, we will learn the different methods by which we can express poetry. In this workshop, we will combine writing prompts and exercises to develop a poem along with different styles we can use to incorporate our work. Whether it’s through collage, nature, or photography, Students are encouraged to take a practice they gravitate towards and use it to express it in their poems. No previous art or writing experience is needed. This workshop takes place in the Richmond Public Library - KIDS ROOM
