About this Class

Learn the basics of the honey bee cycle, taste some local honey and gain more appreciation and understanding of these amazing creatures and the role this species plays in maintaining plant life. This session is led by Ian Lai, Executive Director and beekeeper and covers the life cycle of honeybees, the importance of pollinators, how to increase biodiversity, how to support and create bee habitats and information about becoming backyard beekeeper.
